sunday setlist

There is the coolest thing going on at Fred McKinnon’s worship blog. For the longest time I have wanted something like this. You blog about your Sunday Setlist (tunes from worship) and then link to Fred’s blog. This way, music truly streams from church to church. We can stay up on good set flow, keep track on new songs and contribute.

Because we are blending today with twenty years ago our set list went something like this:

1. I don’t know the song, but I was playing bass so I swung it island style
2. Grace Like Rain (first time we played it in church – went well)
3. Amazed ( the Lincoln Brewster version — I love this song)
4. You are My King/I’m Accepted (tagged Amazed chorus at the end)
5. Doxology (Cure/Crowder style)
6. They Will Know We Are Christians (arranged like Sting’s “It’s Probably Me”)

Fun stuff. A whole new Universe for the PCUSA/Mesa set.
